The bill passed in India. what the actual hell
So the "Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill" passed. In short, it's not a good bill and I urge whoever that finds my blog to read about it online because people's rights are being taken away.
I mean, it's just so dumb. The amount of complications Indian people have to go through to just be themselves is insane. And in this year? 2026 yet we have bills like these being passed. Why can't people just live?
I'm Indian and I'm grateful that my parents moved to America because the things I hear about my own country is awful. Never a single good thing honestly. Now I'm not saying India is the worst place ever but goddamn nothing is getting better.
Although I will say the lack of awareness or care I've seen about this bill is insane. I've seen a few things on my Twitter timeline, but that's it. This bill will affect so many people, and I can only pray that something can happen that will overturn it.
