If I had a penny for every single time I tried to cut off some guy only for them to turn around to stab me in the back, I would probably have like 10 pennies which isn't a lot yet also very concerning.
Long story short, I became friends with a guy, but then he started acting strange. Overly flirty. I didn't like it.
You could call me sensitive. But, it wasn't all. The guy had the nerve to say he was similar to my stalker. That was mostly the final straw, and I blocked, leaving only a message that said "Quite strange, no?"
I probably should've confronted him, or at least given a bit more of an explanation... but does he deserve as much of one?
Anyway, fast forward to a week or two, and I stumble across a rentry page I made for him. And what I see is, well, an IP address. My IP address.
...wow?
This is certainly shocking, I won't lie. Naturally I emailed the developers of rentry asking them to take it down or do some sort of action against it. But, it really makes me think...
And if I weren't a girl?
Would any of this happened?
Would I still be getting doxxed, had I been a guy that cut off a friendship? Instead of a girl? How different would this be, or really, anything be?
I want to vomit.
