Bundlrs

i haven't been blogging a lot often.. bad news bearblog got struck down by my school chromebook LOL. I'm busy when I'm on my actual laptop, but I'll try to spare time to add posts here and there.

ITS THE END OF AN ERA. well actually it was 2 days ago and im late but who cares...

for the non rentry/pastebin people, sntry.cc (also known as bundlrs.cc and maow.cc, they had a shit ton of domains for some reason) was a pastebin site that supported basic markdown & HTML + CSS. It was okay, but not too highly used. The community is 99% hoarders and has kind of died out. It's not as often used as rentry. The owner was also problematic? Take it with a grain of salt, it's just something I've heard here and there.

Anyway, this site was shut down two days ago. Their reasoning was illegal content. Now while I've never seen any illegal content on a bundlrs url, I do see how it's a valid reason. So, its done. Shut down. dead.

hey wanna know something funny? I was actually trying to get a bundlrs url at the exact time it shut down. I was actually quite close. The owner wanted only /eito, and I managed to find the owner, then the owner ghosted me every single week. We managed to agree on $15. I found someone who was willing to pay $15 for a rentry url I owned, they just would give them the money and not me. And then the site shut down LOL.

I go down as the one who owned 99% of all raiden related urls on that website. I say 99% because one of the mods never gave me /raidenshogun & I never found who owned /shogun. Speaking of mods, did you know this site wouldn't let you reclaim urls that mods owned? And some of the mods were hoarders themselves? I saw this exact thing happen in another pastebin site and it's quite unfair. I think it's one of the big reasons why rentry is so trusted- because it's unbiased.

actually whatever let's name everyone I HATE BEING VAGUE!

Rentry, Pastry.diy, and fluffle.cc are sites listed on the bundlrs shut-down page as alternatives. Pastry keeps going down for me on my end, and I made a ticket to ask if something was up on their end, but they kinda shut me down for that so whatever. I do like their UI, with a live preview and all. It uses a similar login token as bundlrs too, so it's not a traditional password and username login. This is all really good- but there's a big flaw. That mod thing I was talking about. The site owner for god's sake has their own hoard of urls. Isn't this a little absurd to think about?

Fluffle.cc is a bit better. As far as I know, the owner themself doesn't own a hoard of vanity urls- but the staff do? I believe? However I'd have to look more into that. Fluffle.cc's community is a cesspool of hatred and a need for persistent drama. The website itself is flawed. It's very interesting in a way, using html, css, markdown, and metadata. I don't know how metadata and css are being combined, but whatever. Anyway, besides all the hoarding, the website is okay. I've actually been inspired to use the site more often because of hatemail I got in my inbox from an ask website, funny isnt it?

Anyway, rentry truly is just the best option and for one big reason: The developers (Matt and Sarah) don't involve themselves in the "url culture" of hoarding. They just don't care about vanity urls. They're responsible and try their best to babysit handle the community. No bias, no hoarding, and they were there before the site exploaded into popularity. They're reputable too, the site rarely goes down for me. The only real problems I have with rentry is their huge ads taking 30% of the screen & the reclaim system having flaws. Only two people checking hundreds and hundreds of reclaim emails... you two should be in the club!

Text.is is also kinda there but nobody cares about that site. It's also riddled in ads. Left right up down EVERYWHERE is an ad. Surely it goes to an extent... this feels more like a sketchy download website then a pastebin.

rest in peace my (really bad) first bundlrs url.
